American hopped pale ale
Alton’s light in colour look is a result of a higher proportion of pale malts. The term “Pale Ale” was first introduced in 1703 when beers made from malts dried with high carbon coke resulted in a lighter colour. Especially so for beers that were popular in this time.
includes 4 hops cascade, mosaic, chinook and amarillo. Each hop provides a exciting and unique aroma for any pale ale fan and it’s drinkers benefit from a large and frothy head. Alton’s name comes from an area in Ashover. Alton is a classic American hopped pale ale, perfect for hazy summertimes evenings.
