The most popular of our stout range, Milk Stout is smooth and rich in texture with chocolate roasted notes and hints of coffee and caramel. Also brewed with the addition of lactose.
Beautifully rich and smooth with hints of caramel and coffee flavour to heighten the senses, this delightfully sweet stout is a great all-rounder!
made with lactose and is darker and thicker in appearance and consistency. It has low carbonation with the lactose giving a taste of sweetened coffee among the likes of espresso and chocolate.
It was produced in England in the early 1900s and was originally marketed as a “healthy drink”. It was once said that milk stout was “a tonic for nursing mothers”. During fermentation, the lactose remains untouched leaving a sweeter and younger tasting final beer.
